Job Description:

GSG Protective Services is seeking Part – Time Tue-Sat 16:00-22:00 Armed Security Officers to work in the Los Angeles area. Security officers will be responsible for maintaining the safety and security of patrons. Qualified candidates will have a professional appearance and demeanor.

Qualifications:

• Valid Security Guard Card *(REQUIRED)*
• Firearms Permit *(REQUIRED)*
• Valid Baton Permit *(REQUIRED)*
• Chemicals Cert.
• CPR / First Aid
• Reliable transportation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions
• Regular and punctual attendance to all shifts

• Detail Oriented
• Technology Savvy
• Strong Report Writing Skills
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Public service oriented, with effective communication skills

Duties may include but not limited to:

• Being alert at assigned post at all times to ensure personal safety
• Monitoring various activities by making rounds to ensure the safety of all patrons
• Respond and assist with emergency situations on property
• Contact Police, Fire Department, or other emergency services as needed
• Practicing all safety rules and procedures at assigned post, as established by GSG Protective Services to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
• Standing/walking for prolonged periods of time

Training:

We set our team members up for success! Extensive training is provided for all officers before placement, as well as after being placed (and throughout your assignment). GSG has many advanced classes offered at no cost to GSG officers!

Preferred Experience:

• Customer service experience: 1 year
• Security experience (or related work): 1 year

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
